Alex Gisbert
General Partner, TT2
Alex is the Managing Director (MD) of the travel specialist consultancy XEA Consulting. This consultancy specializes in M&A advisory and growth strategies for travel and travel tech businesses in EMEA, the Middle East, and the USA.
Alex is also a venture investor in travel and travel tech businesses, such as Layla, the AI-based OTA, and OpenTravelDistribute, the travel software business. Formerly, Alex was the Founder and CEO of Fastpayhotels based in Mallorca, Spain, a former travel startup of the year in the UK in 2016.

Alex’s background includes roles as COO of LowCostTravel Group with 12 offices worldwide, MD of EasyJet Holidays, European Online Marketing Director for Expedia, Strategic Accounts Director for Global Chains at Expedia, and Commercial Director at Opodo. Additionally, he served as a Senior Contracts Manager at Thomas Cook.

Based in Mallorca, Spain, Alex is a former Travolution Rising Star of the Year.

Dr. Javier González-Soria y Moreno de la Santa

Entrepreneur, C-level Executive, Travel, Digital and Connectivity Evangelist. In his 31 years of professional experience, Javier has occupied leading roles in top organizations of different industries like Mundicolor Iberia – as MD of the leading Tour Operator in Spain; Google – where was part of the management team that launched it in Spain as Director of the Travel Vertical; UNWTO – as VP for Europe; Grupo Eurona Telecom – as CCO; Hofmann-Photobox – as member of the Board, responsible for Digital Transformation; AVASANT – as Senior Partner & Head of Travel and Transportation for Iberia; Facebook – as Strategic Advisor for the Travel Industry in Spain; and launched several start-ups, as ConnectedtoGo or Genteviajera.es.

Since 2015 he has been the CEO of Top Seeds Lab and Chairman of the Advisory Board of TravelTech.VC and since 2017 been the Managing Partner of Travel Tech 1 SCR. He is a member of the Mesa de Turismo de España and a member of the executive board of ITH.

Passionate traveller, has visited 83 countries. Passionate communicator, his non-profit TravelThink project has more than 18.000 subscribers. He has published several books related to Commercial Arbitration, Auditing, Online Travel and Digital Marketing. He has been a professor at the School of Economics of Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a lecturer at hundreds of national and international events.

Dr. Toni Raurich-Marcet
General Partner, TT2
Toni is a Graduate in Business Studies, Graduate in Communication, and Graduate in Business Administration and Management from the UAB, a postgraduate in Institutional Relations from ESADE, EMBA from IESE, holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the UB, and has completed his PhD in Economics (specialization in economics) at the UAB and the Erasmus School of Rotterdam.
Since 2012, Toni has been a professor of technology at ISDI and has taught at UAB, UPC, and Complutense University, as well as a lecturer at IESE, focusing on the AI track.

Currently, Toni is a director at eBooking and Infinitum, also holding a position on the board of ADigital. He held director and board member positions at Wallapop, Booking.com, Intercom, and La Caixa.

Periodically, Toni serves as a director in various companies in which he may have invested (Apartum, Vall-Companys, Zurich España, Banco Sabadell, Promofarma, BizAway, Ubiqum, Vicio). He is or has been an investor/LP in several regulated Venture Capital funds (Mundi, Lanta, Bonsai, TravelTech).

Leonardo Saroni

Leonardo Saroni has been a well-rounded entrepreneur since 2001, when, at the age of 19, he launched his first startup – Eurovacanza.com, a travel portal that he managed while obtaining a degree in Business Administration at the University of Pisa, a Double Degree in General Management at Bocconi University, and a CEMS Master in International Management at Copenhagen Business School.
After a brief experience in New York at an investment bank (San Paolo IMI) and Piaggio, he joined Booking.com in 2008 to pursue a career in tech and moved to Amsterdam. As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, he actively participated in the exponential growth of what is now the undisputed leader in the travel sector (Nasdaq: BKNG). Over the 12 years of service, he has led teams in marketing and product development.

Leonardo has been active as an angel investor and board member for tech startups and scale-ups, including Voetbalshop.nl – a 60+ million e-commerce leader in the Benelux football vertical, Fratelli Desideri – a fastest-growing Italian food tech, Reclamio – a leading legal tech in Spain, and BeSafe Group, a fast-growing insure-tech in the hospitality industry.

In 2019, he became a Partner of Prana Ventures, the first Italian Operational Venture Capital dedicated to companies in seed & post-seed stages, for which he now serves as a Venture Partner.

Jorge Schoenenberger
General Partner, TT2
Jorge Schoenenberger is currently Partner and Founder of WinningBoards, a platform dedicated to Board Advisory and Investment Management. As an investor, he recently led and supported a Management Buyout Deal that yielded a x25 MOIC (Multiple on Invested Capital) in three years.
Jorge is the Former CEO of Grupo Viajes El Corte Inglés (2021– 2023) and a former Partner at Deloitte in Spain (2002 – 2021), leading the Transportation, Hospitality, and Services Industry Business in Spain and EMEA.

Jorge’s area of specialization is leading complex companies and business challenges, in which a strong focus on Growth, Transformation, and Value Creation is required.

His main background is related to managing and advising Consumer Industry companies, with a focus on P/L & leadership. Jorge’s key competencies include, among others, team leadership, results orientation, ambition, flexibility, and the ability to develop relationships at the top levels, engaging with Owners, Presidents, CEOs, and other key stakeholders.

Jorge holds a degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of Barcelona (UB) and is a former IESE alumni, where he completed a program specialized in the Strategic Management of Travel Businesses with the participation of owners and CEOs from over 20 global companies.

Throughout his career, Jorge has contributed as a professor, covering topics such as Leading High-Level Relationships, Leadership, Team Management, and Value Creation. He is an active member of the business community, participating in business panels and contributing as an editor in specialized media as a columnist.
